Things to consider...

  1. Legacy does NOT store any data.
  2. You need BOTH keys and the encrypted seed phrase to decrypt.
  3. If any one of these pieces of information are lost, the Bitcoin is irretrievable.
  4. You have sole responsibility for maintaining your keys and encrypted seed phrase.
  5. Keeping a working copy of "Legacy-offline" is also recommended to decrypt the seed phrase.
  6. This tool is intended to be used in conjunction with a Deadman Switch to deliver the Benefactor Key and Encrypted Seed Phrase.
  7. The security of this protocol depends entirely on the strength of your keys. Use long, random, unpredictable strings — not memorable passphrases.
